BAS Role - Franklin area - Outstanding Opportunity

  • Friendly and Vibrant Team
  • Modern Offices
  • Great clients
  • Flexible working
  • Competitive Package
  • Good prospects for growth
Our client is a chartered accounting firm based in the Franklin region that has experienced significant growth through doing fine work for their existing clients. They also have partners that have a great track record in consistently bringing in new work. Offering a full range of services, their client base has grown throughout the North and South Islands and covers all sectors including Retail, Manufacturing and Farming.

This role reports directly to the partners and there is a great opportunity to progress quickly within the practice.  The firm is an ATO and works very hard on the personal development of staff at all levels, creating a positive and supportive environment.

You must have at least a minimum of several years of BAS experience in a CA firm and are likely to be a qualified CA. Your communication skills will be first class and you will be a real self-starter who is prepared to work hard in a professional environment

You will have strong computer literacy as the practice is well up to date in terms of technology including web document management and electronic working papers. Experience with APS and Banklink, as well as great Excel skills, will be valued. Previous exposure to Xero would also be useful.

It is hard to get this type of role, in this type of firm, outside of central Auckland. When combined with a friendly and vibrant team, modern and pleasant offices, a competitive remuneration package and good prospects for future career growth, this really is an outstanding opportunity.
